Changes in Felicity Movie

What changes do you think that They will make in the Felicity movie in order to condense the books into one movie ?
What scenes do you think are essential ?

Obviously they will have to include Penny so that would be much of the first book. The second and third are very important as they include the intro to Elizabeth, discuss the Boston Tea Party and Christmas (which will probably be the focal point and end of the movie just as Samantha's was)

IMO, they might try to find away to incorporate the theft of the gun powder at the magazine as well since this is integral to the story in the development of the Patriots. But I think the movie needs to make sure it is not all biased towards the Patriots and shows the English to be the villian. I think grandfather and Elizabeth's family will help provide that balance. Im sure they will include the bit in the sixth book with Jiggy Nye because its shows the redemption of his character. They would have to show grandfather helping Mr. Cole as well because they have to show grandfather's death (they can change something like that!) and that was directly influenced by helping Elizabth's father.

Anywho, thats what I think. Much of Felicity Saves the day can be omitted. Its not really necessary IMO to show Ben running away. It would just be too much of a story arc for a two hour TV movie. The only important part was Penny coming back and this can be shown in some other way.

I think the summer story, with the exception of Penney's return can be left out. Penney can return someother time in the story.
